The project Save the tiger! Save the Grasslands! Save the Water! is a multidisciplinary project carried out by a consortium of Dutch and Nepali partners, including the Innovative Bio-Monitoring research group (IBM) from the HAS University of Applied Sciences.

Working with the global Building Footprints data

The open building footprints, released by Bing Maps, is a great data set. However, it is not an easy one to work with. You can download GeoJSON files for each country separately, but even so, they are too large to work with. Luckily, with just a few lines of code, you can split the file in manageable chunks that are easier to deal with. Read on to see how.
