Mapping (bio)diversity

One of my research interests is how to map spatial biodiversity patterns using different data and methods. For example, the focus of the Innovative Bio-monitoring research group is to collect data using the latest techniques, like eDNA and information from automatic image recognition. But also ‘old fashioned’ field observations and historical data sets remain important sources of information about species and diversity distribution.
